Maker Train
Hop on board with us!
For the first time in FAB history, we’re organizing a Maker Train, a comfortable and eco-friendly way to travel quickly between our Czech venues. Your train ticket is already included in your FAB25 pass, making it a natural choice for every one of our participants.
On July 8th, two specially arranged Maker Trains, operated by Czech Railways and tailored just for FAB25 attendees, will depart from Brno to Prague. The trains will be waiting for us right at Brno’s central station, where Czech Railways staff and our volunteers will be ready to assist you. They’ll check your ticket (to make sure only makers board), help you find your seat, and get you settled in.
Travel time: approx. 3,5 hours
- 10:00 → Check-out Brno
- 11:00 → Meeting at Brno station
- 15:00–15:30 → Arrival at Prague station
Thoughtfully designed for all
We’ve considered everything to make your journey as enjoyable as possible. Whether you need rest after an intense few days, headphones in, book in hand, or want to keep your hands busy, there’s something here for you.
Makers and families alike can enjoy an onboard workshop, crafted to fit perfectly into the journey. The train also offers great opportunities for networking, plus light refreshments to keep you energized.

A sustainable event

One of the core visions of FAB25 is to create a space that’s kind to our planet and our Maker Train fits seamlessly into that goal.
Traveling together by train significantly reduces the event’s carbon footprint, especially when compared to car travel, which adds pressure to urban infrastructure and emissions in both cities.
The Maker Train becomes both a symbol and a solution, proving that sustainable choices can be practical, efficient, and even fun.
