Program
FAB25 was much more than just a regular conference. From keynotes and hands-on workshops to unique experiences like the Maker Train, Prusa Day, and concerts featuring bands playing on 3D-printed instruments, there was plenty to learn about.
FAB CONFERENCE

The cornerstone of FABx events, the Fab Conference offered a dynamic mix of inspirational keynotes, symposiums, fast talks, theoretical and hands-on workshops, focus groups, and other exciting program formats, plus plenty of networking opportunities. They stuck with the traditional split-day format: mornings brought everyone together in a large venue, while afternoons were tailored to individual interests with a range of more personalized sessions.
PRUSA DAY

A specially co-designed day with FAB25's general partner, Prusa Research, was dedicated to the fascinating world of 3D printing. This day celebrated Prague’s role as the global capital of 3D printing, featuring an exclusive Prusa factory tour, an expansive showcase, inspiring keynotes, talks, hands-on workshops, masterclasses, a one-of-a-kind Prusa party, and more! It was an unforgettable experience that captured the innovation of 3D printing and making.
FAB FESTIVAL

A vibrant celebration showcased the possibilities and benefits of digital fabrication, local production, creativity, innovation, and the community spirit of the Maker Movement and Fab Lab network. Open to the Czech public, the festival offered a chance to engage directly with digital fabrication techniques and, more importantly, the makers and FAB25 attendees who used them daily to solve real-world problems, create art, and build communities. Attendees enjoyed workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, and inspiring talks in a welcoming and worry-free atmosphere.
MAKER TRAIN

Maker Train, a special train was arranged exclusively for FAB25 attendees, was the number one option to travel between Brno and Prague in a relaxed and eco-friendly way. During the 2.5-hour journey, participants enjoyed an exciting onboard program designed to spark creativity, collaboration, and fun. This wasn't just transportation – it was part of the FAB25 experience!
NETWORKING & FUN

An essential part of every FABx event is the time spent together as a community – meeting old friends, making new ones, and sharing stories from the past year. At FAB25 we planned exciting parties and exhibitions at some amazing venues, like Spilberk Castle in Brno or a little FAB25 village created in Prague.
FAB CITY PROGRAM

Fab City Foundation, sponsor of FAB25, shared an exciting program with the Fab community at that year's event. A global network of civic leaders, makers, urbanists, and innovators, Fab City traveled to Czechia to present talks, workshops, and networking opportunities to bring the community together. Whether attendees were interested in policy, vocational training, craft communities, urban regeneration, or access to climate action, the Fab City program had something for everyone with an interest in the future of cities and bioregions.
