- GENERAL PROVISIONS
- These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") are prepared in accordance with the provisions of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code (hereinafter referred to as the "Civil Code"), and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection (hereinafter referred to as the "Consumer Protection Act").
- Make more operates the website fab25.fabevent.org (hereinafter referred to as the "Website"), where it publishes information about the FAB25 conference (hereinafter referred to as the "Event").
- The Terms regulate, in accordance with § 1751 para. 1 of the Civil Code, the mutual rights and obligations arising in connection with or based on agreements concluded between customers and Make more via the Website (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Agreements").
- The customer is either (i) a consumer as defined in § 2 para. 1 letter a) of the Consumer Protection Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Consumer"), or (ii) a person other than a consumer (these two types of customers are hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Customer").
- PURCHASE OF TICKETS FOR THE EVENT
- If the Customer wishes to obtain a ticket for the Event, they shall conclude a purchase agreement and a service provision agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") with Make more, whereby Make more undertakes to organize the Event as described on the Website, deliver tickets to the Customer without undue delay after payment of the ticket price, and allow the Customer with a valid ticket to attend the Event under the specified conditions. The Customer agrees to pay the ticket price.
- The various types of Event tickets, including information about the Event and their prices, are available on the Website, particularly in the ticket order form. All fees and prices are listed in euros, including all charges and taxes.
- At the start of the order process, the Customer will be informed about the accepted payment methods.
- To conclude the Agreement, the Customer must first fill in the required information. Next, the Customer selects the type of ticket they wish to purchase in the order form. The order form contains, in particular, information about: a) Customer details; b) the selected ticket type and Event details; c) services included in the specific ticket type, d) the payment method for the ticket price (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Order").
- Before submitting the complete Order, the Customer can review and edit the information they have entered to correct any errors. The Customer submits the Order to Make more by clicking the "Checkout" button, which also displays the specific payment amount. Upon clicking the button, the Customer is directly redirected to the payment gateway.
- Payment of the Order constitutes the conclusion of the Agreement between the Customer and Make more. Shortly after the Agreement is concluded, Make more will send a confirmation of the concluded Agreement, including the text of these Terms, to the Customer's email address.
- If an incorrect price is displayed on the Website and a ticket Order is made at the incorrect price, Make more reserves the right to cancel the Order. In such a case, Make more will promptly inform the Customer by email about the cancellation of the Order and refund the amount paid by the Customer.
- Make more may withdraw from the Agreement if it is evident that the Customer has intentionally provided incorrect information in the Order. If the Customer is not a Consumer, Make more is entitled to withdraw from the Agreement at any time without providing a reason.
- The Customer agrees that remote communication means may be used when concluding the Agreement. The Customer bears the costs incurred by the use of remote communication means in connection with the conclusion of the Agreement (internet connection costs), which do not differ from the basic rate.
- PRICING AND PAYMENT TERMS
- If there is a discrepancy between the price displayed for the Event ticket on the Website and the price stated in the Order, the price stated in the Order shall prevail.
- The Customer may pay the ticket price and any associated costs via the Website using online payment methods available in the order form, such as payment by card, Link, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. If the Customer wishes to use another payment method, they may contact Make more to arrange an individual Agreement, which will, to a reasonable extent, be governed by these Terms.
- After payment is completed, an invoice will be issued and sent to the Customer's email address provided in the Order if the Customer opted for this during the Order process.
- DELIVERY OF TICKETS AND EVENT PARTICIPATION
- Once the specified conditions are met (including completing the Order and making payment), the Customer is entitled to access the paid tickets for the Event.
- Tickets will be sent to the Customer without undue delay after the corresponding payment has been credited to Make more's bank account or after the Customer's payment has been identified. The tickets will be sent electronically to the email address provided in the Order.
- Make more is not responsible for non-delivery of tickets to the Customer due to reasons attributable to the Customer, such as an incorrect email address, full inbox, or spam filters etc.
- The Customer is entitled to a ticket refund only in the cases and under the conditions specified below. The Customer is not entitled to a refund merely because they did not attend the Event for any reason.
- By purchasing a ticket, the Customer agrees to follow the rules set by Make more and abide by the operational and visitor regulations of the Event venue.
- Make more reserves the right to change the Event program, date, or venue. By purchasing a ticket, the Customer acknowledges this right.
- In the event of a change in the venue or date of the Event or its complete cancellation by Make more, the Customer will be notified. Make more is not responsible for failure to notify the Customer due to incorrect contact details or delayed receipt of timely notices.
- If the venue or date of the Event is changed, the Customer is entitled to a ticket refund, provided they make the claim no later than the fifth (5th) business day following the original Event date and the ticket has not been used. If the claim is not made within this timeframe, it is assumed that the Customer agrees to attend the Event on the new date or at the new venue. In the event of a change in the date or location of the Event due to circumstances beyond the organizer's control as a result of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, epidemics, decisions by public authorities), the ticket remains valid for the rescheduled date or location, and the Customer is not entitled to a refund of the ticket price.
- If the Event is completely canceled by Make more, the Customer is entitled to a refund of the ticket price.
- Refunds will be made using the payment method originally used for the ticket purchase.
- Tickets are designated for specific individuals as indicated in the Order. The ticket can only be used by the designated person, who may be required to present identification at the Event entrance. If the Customer wishes to change the designated individual, they must contact Make more no later than 20 days before the Event date. Make more agrees to accommodate the change unless operational constraints prevent it.
- Make more reserves the right to cancel a ticket if the Customer violates their obligations under these Terms, particularly if Make more suspects multiple persons are using a single ticket. In such a case, the Customer is not entitled to a refund.
- RIGHTS ARISING FROM DEFECTIVE PERFORMANCE
- If the Customer has not received the ticket for the Event within 1 hour of payment, they are required to contact Make more without delay, but no later than 24 hours from the end of the above-mentioned delivery period, to report the missing ticket. For this purpose, the Customer must provide Make more with their name, surname, email address, and phone number used during the ticket purchase. If Make more determines that the ticket was not delivered due to reasons attributable to Make more, the following procedures will apply: (a) Make more undertakings to resend the ticket to the Customer’s specified email address within 24 hours, but no later than 1 hour before the Event begins. (b) If the Event has already taken place, Make more agrees to refund the Customer the ticket price no later than 30 days from the date the complaint was filed.
- If the Customer is a Consumer, their rights and obligations regarding defective performance are governed by applicable laws, particularly §§ 2099 to 2117 and §§ 2161 to 2174b of the Civil Code and the Consumer Protection Act.
- A ticket for the Event or the Event itself may be considered defective if, for example, there is a change to the program or Event organization that significantly affects its nature. However, the following are not considered defects: a) A change to the Event program that does not significantly affect the overall Event (such as minor schedule delays or adjustments to the timing of program blocks, the replacement of one of several performers, provided it is not the main performer, or the replacement of a performer due to force majeure, such as illness) is considered non-material.
- The Customer may lodge a complaint about a ticket or the Event by email or in person at Make more's premises. When filing a complaint, the Customer must specify how they wish the defect to be resolved. This choice cannot be changed without Make more’s consent.
- If the provided performance has a defect, the Customer has the right to have the defect remedied by the delivery of new, defect-free performance or by supplying the missing part of the performance (typically the delivery of a new ticket for the Event); or to have the defect remedied by repairing the performance, unless the chosen method of defect remediation is impossible or disproportionately costly compared to the other method. This assessment will particularly consider the significance of the defect, the value the performance would have without the defect, and whether the defect can be remedied by the other method without significant difficulties for Make more.
- The Customer also has the right to a reasonable discount on the purchase price or to withdraw from the Agreement if: a) Make more refuses to remedy the defect or fails to remedy it in accordance with legal regulations; b) the defect recurs; c) the defect constitutes a material breach of the Agreement; d) or it is evident from Make more's statement or the circumstances that the defect will not be remedied within a reasonable period or without significant difficulties for the Customer.
- If the defect is minor, the Customer is not entitled to withdraw from the Agreement.
- When a complaint is filed, Make more will issue a written confirmation to the Customer, specifying the date the complaint was submitted, the content of the complaint, the method of resolution requested by the Customer, and the Customer's contact details for the purpose of providing information about the resolution of the complaint.
- Unless Make more and the Customer agree on a longer period, Make more will resolve the complaint and provide the Customer with information about its resolution at the provided contact details within 30 days of receiving the complaint. If this period elapses without resolution, the Customer, if a Consumer, may withdraw from the Agreement or request a reasonable discount.
- Make more will inform the Customer about the resolution of the complaint via email and will provide the Customer with confirmation of the date and method of complaint resolution. If the complaint is justified, the Customer is entitled to reimbursement of reasonably incurred costs, which the Customer is required to substantiate.
- Non-Consumer Customers must notify and claim defects without undue delay, but no later than three days after the Event.
- CONSUMER INFORMATION
- If the Customer is a Consumer, the provisions of this section of the Terms shall apply. For the avoidance of doubt, Make more states that if the Customer is not a Consumer, the provisions of this section do not apply to the contractual relationship.
- Pursuant to § 1837 letter j) of the Civil Code, the Customer is not entitled to withdraw from the Agreement concluded between the Customer and Make more within 14 days without providing a reason, as this is an agreement on the use of leisure time and the performance provided by Make more is delivered on a specified date.
- FINAL PROVISIONS
- These Terms and the Agreement are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
- The Agreements and Terms are drafted in the English language. Once the Customer concludes the Agreement with Make more, it will remain stored electronically with Make more and will not be accessible to the Customer.

- For complaints related to the performance provided in connection with the Agreements and to find an alternative dispute resolution body, the Customer, who is a Consumer, may also use the online platform established by the European Commission, available at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
- The provisions of these Terms are an integral part of the Agreement. The Customer confirms that they were made aware of the existence of these Terms before concluding the Agreement, have read them, and agree to them.
- Make more reserves the right to unilaterally amend or supplement the text of these Terms; however, this does not affect rights and obligations arising during the effective period of the previous wording of the Terms.
- Provisions deviating from these Terms may be agreed upon in a specific Agreement. Such deviating provisions shall take precedence over the wording of these Terms.
- All information regarding the processing of the Customer’s personal data is contained in the Privacy Policy, available [here](/privacy-policy).
- The Customer and Make more agree to communicate via electronic mail. The email address of Make more is stated in the header of these Terms, and the Customer’s email address is stated in the User Account or in the Order.
- In the event of force majeure or unforeseen events (natural disasters, pandemics, operational disruptions, supplier outages, etc.), Make more is not liable for damages caused as a result of or in connection with cases of force majeure. If the force majeure lasts for more than 30 days, the parties agree that Make more has the right to withdraw from the Agreement.
- These Terms are effective as of January 1st 2025.
