By purchasing this ticket, I acknowledge and agree to the following ticket refund policy, terms and conditions:

  • Refunds Policy: Registration for FAB25 is not complete until full payment for the ticket is received. All tickets are valid for the named attendee.
    • Up to 30 days before the event, 100% of the ticket cost will be refunded. Ticket platform fees are not refundable.
    • Up to 15 days before the event, 50% of the ticket cost will be refunded. Ticket platform fees are not refundable.
    • Within 18 days of the event, ALL ticket costs AND ticket platform fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Refunds will not be issued after June 16, 2025 - REQUESTS MADE AFTER THE OFFICIAL START OF THE EVENT ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND.
This policy extends to any and all events related to FAB25 covered by the ticket purchase, including but not limited to the FAB25 conference, FAB25 social events and Fab Festival.

  • Refund Requests: This must be made by email to contact and include the order/ticket/registration number and other relevant booking details. Once approved, refunds will be issued within 30 days of receipt of the cancellation notice to the original payment method. Refunds usually appear within 5-10 business days.

  • Force Majeure: This policy applies to all circumstances for ticket cancellation, including but not limited to: transportation disruptions or cancellations; declined visas for travel, local, national, or international travel or health advisories; any reason related to Covid-19 or other public health emergencies; natural disasters or disruptive events; personal illness or injury; illness or injury of a family member; and/or personal preference.

  • Ticket Transferability: Tickets may be transferred to another attendee up to 10 days before the conference, by submission of an email to fabevents@fabfoundation.org

  • Code of Conduct: All attendees must adhere to the conference's Code of Conduct. Harassment or disruptive behavior will result in immediate removal without refund.

  • Privacy Policy: By purchasing a ticket, you consent to the use of your personal information for conference-related communications. here

  • Photography and Recording: The conference will be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to be filmed or photographed.

  • Event Changes/Cancellation: The conference schedule and speakers are subject to change without notice. No refunds will be provided for schedule changes. All participants acknowledge that changes in itinerary, location, content, host or other arrangements may happen with little or no notice before the event date in response to reasons including but not limited to: weather events, security events, closed borders, public health concerns, or host or team sickness or injury. The Fab Foundation, the national host, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Center for Bits and Atoms reserve the right to make alternate arrangements at any time. We will make every attempt to be transparent and consult with event participants.

    It may be necessary to cancel an event at FABx for reasons beyond our reasonable control. If a FABx event must be canceled (other than supplementary expeditions or activities), we will offer you the choice of either: (a) a refund for the paid amount minus the ticket transaction fee, or (b) a donation to the Fab Foundation for the total paid amount. In such cases, the Fab Foundation is liable for refunding the fees according to the policy above for the affected event. The event partners shall not be liable for any costs or losses resulting from changes or cancellations as a result of events outside our reasonable control.

  • Refusal Policy: We reserve the right to return the payment and refuse acceptance of a booking for any participant, at any time, for any reason, at no penalty to the event partners.
