This one-day event at the Prague Exhibition Grounds celebrates innovation, technology, and making. The FAB Festival offers immersive experiences, showcasing cutting-edge technologies like 3D printing and AI, and connecting the Czech and international Maker communities through hands-on workshops with artists and craftsmen.
What to Expect
The FAB Festival promises a dynamic program filled with activities for all ages and interests:
- Speakers stage: inspiring stage featuring global experts in digital manufacturing, technology, and innovation, with keynotes and discussions on topics like the future of 3D printing and the impact of FabLabs.
- Mobile FabLabs: meet the creators from the Central Europe, hear their inspiring stories, and experience digital fabrication firsthand.
- Workshops Pavilon: vibrant center with workshops led by Czech and international makers. Beginners and advanced makers alike can learn new skills and get inspiration in 3D printing, CNC milling, and robotics.
- Prusa Research Pavilon: the pavilion will showcase their latest work and PrusaLab, offering a look at new technologies, a technology and Art&Design Expo, and workshops on 3D printing's future.
- Art&Design expo: an exhibition of projects by local and international creators, combining creativity and technology.
- FabLab Pavilon: a large-scale version of open workshops, showcasing digital fabrication globally. Try FabLab devices, see a standard workshop, or join hands-on sessions.
- Global Kids and Make Edu: experience digital production and hands-on creation with international Global Kids lecturers, naturally practicing English and fostering creativity through a playful Make Education approach.
- Playground: a space for makers of all ages in the Exhibition Park in Prague. Here you can play games and have fun. If the weather is warm, you can even have a water war!
- Chillout: grab a snack, a drink or ice cream from several food trucks.
