This program has become a cornerstone of the Fab Lab Network, catalyzing creativity, collaboration, and technical skill development in diverse communities throughout the world.

The potential of Fab Academy stretches far beyond the walls of any single Fab Lab. Operating as a globally distributed campus, the program connects students, instructors, and mentors from every continent through weekly lectures, project reviews, and open knowledge sharing. Each local lab becomes a node in a powerful network of makers—bridging cultures, enhancing expertise, and stimulating innovation.

Each year, at the annual FABx Event, graduates of Fab Academy and other Academany programs are recognized for their academic achievements. These gatherings—like FAB25 Czechia—are more than just conferences; they are immersive, community-driven experiences where people, ideas, and machines converge, generating the momentum that powers an entire ecosystem. Attending a Fab Event is the best entry point into the global Fab Lab Network, providing exposure to professional contacts and novel technologies, as well as the real-world projects and personal stories that shape the future of distributed innovation.

Graduation Day marks a powerful milestone in the Fab Academy journey. On July 7, 2025, at Fleda Club in Brno, students from around the world will gather to showcase their final projects, celebrate their success, and take their place in a vibrant, global community of change makers. This is so much more than a ceremony; it's a vivid demonstration of what’s possible when people are given the tools, knowledge, and support to create their own future.
